  The newly confirmed Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Governor, Dr. Olayemi Cardoso has disclosed plans to shore up the country’s Gross Domestic Product, GDP, to $1 trillion in eight years . Cardoso spoke while answering questions from senators during his screening and confirmation as the governor of the apex bank. Those confirmed as deputy governors are: Emem Usoro, Philip Ikeazor, Muhammad Abdullahi-Dattijo, and Bala Bello. He assured that the ratified board will adopt a number of strategies including short term and medium terms goals to repair the economy.   Chicago State University (CSU) on Monday evening  released academic records of President Bola Tinubu to Atiku Abubakar , the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). POLITICS NIGERIA reports that the documents confirm that Tinubu did attend CSU and graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Honours. However, the documents also raise several questions than answers. The discrepancies in the documents made public There is more than one discrepancy in the documents released by Chicago University. For example, Tinubu’s  replacement certificate , dated June 27, 1997, is missing the year “1867” from the logo, which appears on all other certificates issued by CSU during that period. The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee has explained why the speculated meeting between President Bola Tinubu and the United States President, Joe Biden could not be held during the recent meeting of the United Nation’s General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York. The APC clarification was on the heels of media reports attributed to Phrank Shaibu, Media Aide to the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar who accused the Tinubu administration of peddling falsehood.
